Itinerary Deviation Requests

All bookings requesting an Itinerary Deviation must be deposited and PIF complete. If these requirements are not met the route sector request will be denied.

Itinerary Deviation requests for voyages outside of 30 days will be updated within 10-15 business days of the request being submitted. Itinerary Deviation requests for voyages within 30 days will be handled within 3-5 business days.

Once the change has been made, a booking confirmation reflecting the updates will be generated to the email/fax on file.

Disclosure Statement: Princess Cruises is not responsible for missed cruises or any expenses incurred in getting to or from the next port of call if the ship does not arrive at the requested port of embarkation or disembarkation, or if the ship is delayed for any reason. There is no reduction in cruise fare for any missed nights of the cruise due to a requested route change. Guests are responsible for obtaining any necessary visas or travel documents, and for verifying what those requirements are.

Itinerary Deviations on Round-Trip/Closed-Loop Domestic Voyages

Itinerary Deviation requests for guests wishing to EMBARK on domestic round-trip voyages (cruises that begin and terminate at the same U.S. port with intermediate stops at Mexico, Canada or most Caribbean islands and Bermuda) are no longer allowed. These Itinerary Deviations may jeopardize the Closed Loop status of a voyage and result in additional immigration processing directly impacting the ship's scheduled operation. We can allow Itinerary Deviations on the round-trip full and partial Panama Canal voyages only, as these cruises call to the South American port of Cartagena, Columbia.

Itinerary Deviation requests for guests wishing to DISEMBARK on domestic round-trip voyages will be considered, and should be submitted using the Itinerary Deviation request form referenced above.

Alaska, roundtrip from San Francisco or Seattle (Seattle Cruisetours excluded)
Canada/New England, roundtrip from New York
Caribbean, roundtrip from Ft. Lauderdale, New York or San Juan
Hawaii, roundtrip from Los Angeles or San Francisco
Mexico, roundtrip from Los Angeles or San Francisco
Panama Canal, roundtrip from Ft. Lauderdale
